Haverfield recently opened “Haverfield Tech” located on 11 acres in Gettysburg, PA. All new employees receive initial hire training at Haverfield Tech to ensure a safe and consistent work environment. The training is specific to Haverfield’s specialized helicopter operations and supplements general line work skills and methods. Safety and technical procedures are instructed to ensure that each student is prepared for the demanding environments we operate in and also allows for consistency in all of Haverfield’s products and services. A wide range of courses are instructed including; Environmental, Health & Safety, Crew Resource Management, Helicopter & Aerodynamic Principles, Comprehensive Visual Inspection and Helicopter Live Line Procedures.
